︎ The BPCI-R system inherits from a succession of speculative IoT neurotech design prototypes based on a hard sci-fi scenario mapping out the potentials of “condensing” and streamlining process of visual perception from a dispersed sequence of alternating conscious, semi-conscious and unconscious modes across multiple agents, into a “transreality” mediated by a neuro-ocular interface which facilitates fluid “trespassing” across the gradient of realities from physical to synthetic.
 
features: The scenario explores a possible future socio-psychological landscape featuring multiple realities of varying "densities," where citizens remain unaware of one another due to the granular diversity of glocal mental clusters – from cyborg enthusiasts to psychonauts. This fragmentation arises from interactive neuro-cognitive dynamics in sensory processing and belief modulation, prompting a quest for cross-reality communication to ensure long-term planetary sustainability. In this context, the wager favours biology and the essence of physical reality as a counterpoint to the rising aspirations for synthetic simulations within the cyborg community. It seeks to rebalance technological endeavours toward the understudied depths of biology. This vision of transcending cyborg enhancements through biological exploration draws inspiration from Max Tegmark's "Mathematical Universe," emphasising a self-sustaining utopia of "juxtaposition versus addition". Ultimately, it projects the next technological frontier as post-biotech – a domain unlocked only by probing biology's untapped boundaries and leveraging its understudied potential.
