hard sci-fi + speculative design roots:
> an outcome of succession of speculative IoT neurotech design prototypes based on a hard sci-fi scenario reperceiving neurophysiology of visual perception with focus on attentional blink, time perception and decision-making, as a space and the potentials of “condensing” and stremlining it from a dispersed sequencing alternating between six types of conscious, semi-conscious and unconscious perceptions across multiple agents, into a “transreality” mediated by a neuro-ocular system, facilitating fluid “trespassing” across the gradient of realities from physical to synthetic to mental to “etheric”.
features: the scenario was also exploring a possible future socio-psychological environment, suggesting the existence of multiple realities of varying ‘thicknesses” and their citizens potentially unaware of one another due to diversity of currently developed subculturally glocal convictions clusters from cyborg to psychonauts, the psychology of knowledge formation and perceptual effects on perceived knowledge and beliefs → which edequatly lead to search for solutions for them to communicate for the long-term sustainability of the planet. at that point, the bet was made on the biology and nature of physical reality as a personal stance based on the personal prediction of further matrix-like aspirations evolving from the growing cyborg community and requirement to balance scales of scientific efforts towards “understudiness of biology” factored by a flock effect of individual psychological circumstaces of scietific community as well as honest personal preferences in the face of augmentation risks. the high vision for this direction was encouraged by the self-sustained utopia of “conversion vs addition” to a degree exemplified in “Mathematical Universe” by Max Tegmark; P.S.: thanks “https://www.rca.ac.uk/universe’ for bearing this
