As perceptual illusions become embossed – they fragment our perceptual sensitivity according to their amount and rhythm. What if these borders between gradations of the perceived worlds hold potential to evolve into a reality in its own right? What if this reality is as distinct and vivid as the virtual and “physical” worlds?
Below is a sci-fi scenario
which unfolds the co-dependency of neurophysiological and socio-cultural conditions under which a speculated reality reveals itself onto the surface of our conscious experience. It evolved from a metaphoric cross-analysis of neuroscientific findings in formation of expectations and rhythmic properties of our visual perceptual apparatus. In my experimental social network, I make an attempt to prototype its utopstic conditions.

(... correlations between rhythmicalities of external stimulus and decision-making, partial awareness and time perception. Whilst attentional blink is the line of weakness between conscious collective physical constructions and parallel streams of undetected attention targets, I make an attempt to sink through them for the purpose of creating a visual communication system.)
Made-up definitions
Inter-attunement – a process of synchronising and syncopating of sequences of events happening in dependency of one another
Orchestration – an imposed synchronising and syncopating of sequences of events happening in dependency of one another
Rhythm – a three stage process of two events streaming, stumbling upon, overriding and joining, producing a by-product which is pushed out outside its native interval thus becoming a syncope of the stream
Rhythmic outward multiplication – an attribute not exclusive to consciously life form / an inescapable motion of emotion, thought or physical body, a condition to linear trajectory of time / a metaphor to an act of inception of a new cell, of a new trajectory of even
Sequence-dominated – a situational temporal characteristic of magnetizing towards habitual rhythm of events
The naming of the scenario “Reality 1 Reality (R1RA)” emphasizes the sameness of the contents of the subjected “realities” and the difference of languages they are described by.
Its sci-fi framing of the scenario allows this research to focus on the prospects of gradual alteration of social perception of the external world rather than the methods and effects of its technological augmentation.
The two definitions of science fiction (sci-fi) that gave shape to the scenario below, is one of Isaac Asimov : “Science fiction can be defined as that branch of literature which deals with the reaction of human beings to changes in science and technology.”1975; and Patrick Parrinder: "'Hard' SF is related to 'hard facts' and also to the 'hard' or engineering sciences. It does not necessarily entail realistic speculation about a future world, though its bias is undoubtedly realistic. Rather, this is the sort of SF that most appeals to scientists themselves—and is often written by them. The typical 'hard' SF writer looks for new and unfamiliar scientific theories and discoveries which could provide the occasion for a story, and, at its more didactic extreme, the story is only a framework for introducing the scientific concept to the reader." (7) (1980)
The most relatable existing definition which could be applied the reality this scenario describes is one of trans-reality – “the blending of the physical and the virtual world. Trans-reality means that the virtual world is used to neutralize the imperfections of the physical world and enrich the physical experience.”
Expectations and context, the main factors casting the perception the external world, undergo a change on a social scale. This change is not adding of new elements to our experience. It is a rearrangement of the clusters of our attention. It “can be” realised through natural or artificial manipulation of undividedly both private and social expectations of the world we experience. It happens in a rhythmic coincidence and feeds these expectations with common contents.
The contents is the context which is metacognitive, meaning it is scientific knowledge about the nature of perception of the “objective” reality.
This knowledge about plasticity of perception feeds individual’s understanding and experience. It nurtures previously unknown and unnecessary sensitivity to day-to-day leaps of consciousness between illusion, memory and active experiences of physical and virtual worlds. Repetitive encountering of new expectations that requires a “space” to act, pushes out previous expectations. In this new conquered space that is the “mind’s eye”, It can then cumulate its density by further multiplying the amount and thus shorten proximity between the new expectations.
This process of embedding and clustering the knowledge about plasticity of perception (i.e. context) into private and social expectations, once fulfilled, becomes a natural trans-reality. What was once a sporadic process (in reality unrestrained by conditioning of R1RA i.e. the one we live) and then as an organised process happening towards fulfillment of R1RA requirements), becomes a reality of its own by the weight of its accumulated gravity.
The scale of the context has no choice but to be equivalent to the number of agents of social expectations because social expectations are oxidized by those which are private and vice vers Once it becomes to exist due to the way the expectations of it were clustering across the chain of our visual perception, our “mind’s eye” becomes filled with it to extent, it has no choice but to accept R1RA and find its navigation within the new circumstances. It does so for physiological motivations of the brain to formulate expectations of the external stimuli.
As our perceptual apparatus adjusts to its new surroundings (and hence, contents), it gradually starts to distinguish between its gradations of that facilitates social perception of reality to become fragmented and detailed.
The inter-feeding circular
behavior of its two overarching factors expectations and context – private and social expectations, – makes it inaccessible.
A way to access and potentially generate enough gravity for this circular utopia that R1RA is, could be through physical and physiological (8) properties of our perceptual apparatus which are involved in visual formation of expectations. The errors and limitation of our brain could be the act of entry and natural or conditional orchestration of their simultaneous motion towards R1RA could precipitate its growth.
The circumstances which allow to re-perceive the visual perceptual phenomena of attentional blink as the co-binding line of weakness between two equally valid waking realities, hold potential to transform what today is repeatedly reaffirmed as shared physical reality, into R1RA.
Thus, Reality 1 Reality A (R1RA) - is exaggerated borders of the natural and virtual worlds. It is a product of rhythmic rearrangement of clusters of interconnected expectations of the external world.
